![]() Other than that most other apps offer some sort of service to help you discover music. There's also an app called Reddit Tunes, but unfortunately it's not available here in Norway, so I can't comment much on it. There are a ton of different quiz-setups. It feeds you music, and you have to guess a trivia, movie name, etc etc. Quizzter, is as you would guess a quiz game. I would rather recommend checking out the different playlists at: and from there navigate yourself to specific comedians. The App Official Comedy has comedy shows, from supposedly most of the great comedians through times, but playlists often turn up empty or having some tracks excluded in your country. The App Listen Language works as a great portal to language courses on Spotify for 24 countries! The App h1tchr, provides Wiki information, and a lot of info in a userfriendly interface. Wonder what particular word's being sung? You don't have to search for the lyrics and then browse your way through a ton of text, simply rewind the track to that part and get the sentence instantaneous. The lyric library is endless, even including a lot of newly released EDM tracks.(I'll assume tunewiki's library is as large as any other lyric service online.) Will also check for lyrics to your local files. When a song is playing simply click the app and you get an in-client karaoke-style(line for line marked) stream of the lyrics. There are some really cool apps in the App Finder(All free). Search for spotify users by typing spotify:user: in the search-field.(For example spotify:user:zlokex to find a really cool dude.) Great way to find your profile (and playlists) when at a party and using another Spotify account. It also helps you spot when a track in one of your playlists suddenly becomes unavailable.(Normally it would disappear from your list, now it becomes grey, and you have the option to add it locally/or find the same track available in a different album(Yes that happens)) This is helpful to spot good music that's not available on Spotify, but might be free for download somewhere else or available on Youtube. ![]() Unchecking "Hide unplayable tracks" lets you view tracks in playlists or albums that are unavailable in your country or stored locally on another account. If you're using a mobile device you can do the same, by setting Streaming to Extreme Quality as well as Download at Extreme Quality, up from the Normal Quality at default. Tip: Check at least once every 2 weeks for duplicates, sorting by artist, and checking every track added in the last 2 weeks. It also creates natural separations for every new artist, which makes it easier on the eyes to browse. When removing duplicates, sorting by Artist works best for me (compared to title) as it separates songs with similar or same title, but different artists. For example: something something NOT year:1970-2013 title:remix to exclude any old tracks, and any tracks with the word remix in the title. Lastly you can exclude in your search by typing NOT before anything you're excluding. Something like year:1999 genre:pop could be useful genre:pop and genre:rock works for instance. You can also specify genre, but I'm not sure what genre tags they recognize. For example: rolling stones year:1969įor a specific album, artist or title you can specify by artist:, album:, title: For example: artist:michael jackson album:thriller You don't have to match an exact album, for instance, it will search through any album containing that word. Explained here.)įor a specific year, add year:1987 or year:1990-2000. (But it does not work in the artist or album pages. When searching for a song in one of your playlists, hitting Ctrl-F will let you filter it. I can always view exactly which list I'm playing from, so I have the ability to check out more from that radio if I particularly like one kind of song.īy creating an empty playlist called '-' it makes it into a divider. I now have an awesome playlist with all the music from GTA, as well as the ability to swap to any radio(list) I want depending on mood. ![]() Gem! I've created a playlist folder named GTA Radios and added all the playlists from which adds up to 63 GTA radio playlists from every game released between 20. Great if you have several specific genre party playlists for instance. Super helpful for sorting if you have many playlists.īy right-clicking the folder you can choose to play the whole folder. File -> New Playlist Folder or (Ctrl-Shift-N) will create a playlist folder. ![]()
